Stamped concrete provides a super-durable finish (after all, it’s concrete). But perhaps best of all, it requires much lower maintenance (and is therefore more cost-effective) than a pressure-treated wood deck, flagstone or pavers. We can also install many different types of decorative finishes (like spray deck, stamped overlay, stained or fresh-stamped concrete), and each can be customized with different colors and patterns. Here’s how we do it!
Step I:
When first discussing your favored colors and stamp patterns, we will help narow your choices by offering our opinion on what will best fit your style and existing exterior home finish.
Step II:
We will help you design the best shape and size for your new patio. We don’t want to overpower your yard but you will usually need to plan for space for furniture, plant vases, etc. We can create any shape you want to fit any backyard space!
Step III:
Now the fun begins! We excavate, build the form for your new deck and pour the concrete. During the hardening process, we apply the stamp pattern and color. The next day we remove the forms and wash the surface to create your desired look. Once the concrete is dry, the sealer is applied (to lock in the color and pattern) and two days later, it’s all yours! The entire process takes just a few days.
